[Openstack] [SOLVED] Grizzly: Does metadata service work when overlapping IPs is enabled

It was indeed the Avahi daemon which was adding the route. I did the
following and now the route is not added and I am able to reach the
metadata service.

Note that its important remove the files under /etc/network/if-up.d and
/etc/network/if-down.d.

root at vm:~# apt-get remove avahi-daemon
