The function is called "boot from volume." In Horizon, the Launch Instances dialog will show you a boot from volume section where you can select the volume to boot from. Note that you may need a volume to exist for it to show. Alternatively, you can use the CLI. But I haven't been able to find anything that shows how to achieve this. Can anyone provide a pointer?
