The exception is sponsored by of one of the issues in the python
interpreter delivered by SUSE for SLES11 SP2. I will send you patched
packages by private mail.

The line 859 in nova/utils.py (ident = getattr(t, "ident", hash(t)))
will fail on SLES11 SP2 at the moment.

You can reproduce the bug this way to test if your python interpreter
has the issue.
