The terms for snapshot and backup seem completely reasonable.

>From a server consolidation/disaster recovery point of view, the dream would be to be able to do backup and snapshot mirroring, almost like an Oracle dataguard, to a remote site.

>From my understanding of the upcoming Swift container replication features, this would be feasible if we can get the data into Swift.
