When is the next video conference call? I would be interested to talk through the different challenges + ideas for the hackathon?  <-- a fun task to do!
It would be great if everyone on this mailing list could send their ideas to Rico (on or off list) so we can get them all listed.  All ideas are good ideas at this stage -think - think - think!
@Rico what is the best way to help you list ideas for the hackathon?

Once we have the ideas, we can start to recruit mentors - a great opportunity to meet people.  Yes you reading this should think about being a mentor ;-)

1. Intro

* Everyone introduced themselves

* Michael introduced the concept and answered some questions



2. Site Survey Planning

=> Detailed site surveys need to be arranged of TAF and HackathonTW

venues. Anita to coordinate.

=> Once surveys are done, a comparison should be produced

=> Anita/Allen to ask CHT for technical details about their plan

* Jack gave an update of the TAF venue, said it was generally good, but

there were some questions about furniture and other infrastructure.

* TAF is only available Mar 27-27, not 18-20



3. Development Objectives

* TF introduced MOEA 4G smart commerce project



4. Cloud Choice

* TF talked briefly about QCT option, Allen talked briefly about CHT

option (100 bare metal servers)

=> TF and Allen to ask QCT/CHT for technical details

* General discussion about the aims and allowables for the platform



5. Mentorship

* We need to find mentors in a range of areas

==> Rico/Tom/David to find mentors on OpenStack side

==> Allen/Anita to ask about MOEA 4g smart commerce related people



6. Date selection

* Still aiming for 18-20 March

* Need to double-check when school holidays are





7. AOB

* Attendee Registration: Rico noted that HackathonTW has a blacklist of

known disruptive people. They also have a registration system. Allen

asked about what kind of filters we should apply.

==> Someone needs to write up the requirements for attendance. (eg must

be able to program)

==> Judging: ideas on how this will work need to be written up
