No problem. I added another sheet with a deduped list.

Hi,

Can we de-duplicate the rows? I guess we do not need all the presenters for this decision.

The target per track is what's on the second worksheet. It's a suggestion, not a mandate :) So if your Programming Committee doesn't feel the submission is good enough, feel free to not accept it. As you can see, we don't get a ton of workshop submissions. The allocation is based on the space we have allotted on site, combined with total submissions. If we don't have enough to fill the room, we might ask for some alternate selections, so feel free to include those in your list.

Re: Telecom & NFV, it looks like one of the Telecom & NFVs that we originally had decided to pull their submission. So we'll probably reallocate that 3rd one to one of the other tracks.

Let me know if there are additional questions.

Thanks,
JImmy

I only see two in the Telecom & NFV category, the Counts per Track spreadsheet says 3. What’s the target number of workshops per track?

Hey Tyler,

Thanks for the heads up. That's actually an incorrect allocation. HPC / GPU / AI and Public Cloud didn't have any workshops submitted, thus the N/A. Open Source Community should have 1 i/o Public Cloud. Here's an amended spreadsheet, put into Google Docs to (hopefully) avoid confusion moving forward.

Jimmy,

I have a question about the other two tracks that dont have any workshops for them. Why was it an option for people to choose a workshop under that track if we werent going to allow any in? That doesnt seem very fair to the people submitting for those tracks.

Hi all -

I want to add a gentle reminder to select workshops, in addition to the normal set of presentations. I'm re-attaching the spreadsheet. It contains the title, abstract, and track of all Workshops submitted. We have very limited space for workshops, so we're pulling this out of the normal Track Chair selection process. The count for the number of workshops is on the second worksheet in the spreadsheet.

Please let us know as soon as possible.

Thanks!
Jimmy
