Hi Everyone,

Thank you again for participating as a track chair for the OpenStack Summit Boston. For those not able to join the webinar this morning, the recording is available HERE <https://youtu.be/nWNtiViOIjo> for your reference. There will be an additional training webinar to review the second set of track chair responsibilities before Community Voting ends. We have also included an updated timeline below to reflect the changes created by extending the CFP deadline as well as new items for this cycle.

UPDATED TIMELINE
New CFP Deadline: February 8th 11:59pm PST
Track Chair Review- Part One: February 9th 12:01am PST - February 14th 11:59pm PST
Community Voting: February 15th 12:01am PST - February 21st 11:59pm PST
Track Chair Review- Part Two: February 22nd 12:01am - March 2nd 11:59pm PST
Summit Schedule Live: Early/Mid March

PART ONE: February 9-14th
You will be given access to the track chair tool and asked to review sessions before community voting opens to flag any talks that are in the wrong track and need to be moved into a different track. You will have five days to complete this step. The tool also has the capability for track chairs to contact the speaker(s) if there is any missing information in the submission. Community voting will be open February 15th-21st.

PART TWO: February 22 - March 2nd
After community voting closes you will again be given access to the track chair tool to rank the talks within your track and collaborate will your fellow track chairs to make a final team selection. You will have a week and a half to complete this step.

New for this cycle:
Within your track, you will also be reviewing lightning talks in addition to the presentations/panels. Jimmy discusses this in the recorded webinar, but please reach out if you have any questions.
Based on community feedback from the Barcelona Summit CFP process, unique URLs for sessions during the community voting process will return. Speakers and organizations will again be able to promote specific talks to their network. Please let us know if you have any questions around this functionality.

Contacting your fellow track chairs:
The email addresses and track names for all track chairs are listed here: https://www.openstack.org/track-chairs/directory <https://www.openstack.org/track-chairs/directory>. Additional information about the process is available here <https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/r.23a64ff8873bc36c1457e1046692a7c1>.

For any other questions, please contact speakersupport at openstack.org <mailto:speakersupport at openstack.org> or reach out to Jimmy/me directly. Thanks in advance for all of your help!
