This sounds like a great topic for a SIG, linking various parts of the
community to discuss an overarching vision.

Note that since the SIG is not really formed yet, I moved your
description to the "Future potential SIGs" section in the wiki page[1]
-- feel free to move from there to the table at the top when you have a
name and a scope :)
