Hello,

On your compute nodes in nova.conf

[DEFAULT]

resume_guests_state_on_host_boot = True

All instances that had a running state when the reboot occured will be started again.

Best regards

I'm looking for a way to ensure running instances are started on a host after reboot, I've seen a way to do this for RHEL and CentOs by using /etc/sysconfig/libvirt-guests but it is not available on Ubuntu as far as I know.
