Sorry I think I miss understood you original mail. The problem we had was related to the VMs not the Physical host in the same network.

I don't think I can help in this regards.

Salman, I'm using centos 7 either on computing nodes or neutron network node.
The workaround suggested by Kevin Benton in previous email works fine.
Further suggestions ?

What is are you using on compute? I had similar problem few days ago with CentOS and I manage to solve it. If you are using CentOS you can give a try with my solution.

If I assign an address to the physical host I can ping the neutron dhcp server.
