Hi,
I did add a dns nameserver in the /etc/resolv.conf file. The problem I'm facing here it at times I'm able to download packages or ping any internet site but then I loose connection from accessing internet. I checked my Openstack services and they are up and in running state.

Looks like name resolution does not work properly. You need to add an dns entry to your instance. You can try that by hand first
(/etc/resolv.conf) or you could try to add the dns info to your neutron subnet.
The dns server usually lives somewhere outside your openstack installation, so you should provide the external one
