What distribution is this? If RedHat based, try turning selinux to permissive and see if it works.

Thx,

Subject: [Openstack-operators] Problem creating volumes from images with ceph storage

Hi all,

I have an icehouse deployment with 2 OSD ceph nodes for image and volumes. I can create volumes, however I cannot create volumes from my images:

#cinder upload-to-image --disk-format qcow2 --container-format bare b4ca5b64-e00e-4d54-930a-d1beb8ee027a "centos-6.6"

ERROR: The server has either erred or is incapable of performing the requested operation. (HTTP 500) (Request-ID: req-0a309a5a-6fee-4fa7-a8f1-09a684670c7b)

Any hint?

Thanks,
Pedro Sousa
