Open Stack

The easiest way to get all the creds you need is to download them from the
dashboard as described in
http://docs.openstack.org/openstack-ops/content/lay_of_the_land.html#get_creds

You get cacert.pem, cert.pem, ec2rc.sh, and pk.pem in a bundle that way.

There's a difference between
"Invalid OpenStack Identity credentials" and "Unable to establish
connection to..." -- I see you triple-checked the configuration, is the
keystone service running?

You do have to restart the service to get the configuration to change.

Could be a few things... but definitely look into the dashboard approach
for getting those EC2 creds.
