Hi Scott:
Thank you very much for the email and for filling out the survey. We're looking to see if we can include you in the Horizon Usability Test -- stay tuned. The survey was just a screener to finding participants for the Horizon Usability Test, which the initial targeted participant was the Cloud End User.
As an operator, I suspect you fit more into the Cloud Administrator user category. That being said, we would be delighted to have a discussion with you regarding the OpenStack UX challenges -- whether they are first or secondhand -- you've experienced. I'll reach out to you offline to schedule this.
Thank you again for your interest in helping to drive forward the UX,
Ju Lim

I submitted a survey response; hopefully you will find my answers useful, but if you need more detail please ask. The survey seems to be directed at forming profiles of "typical" users. Aren't these profiles already addressed by the general User Survey? I was expecting to see direct UX / UI questions relating to Horizon or the CLI. Are there plans to do these in the future?
As an operator, I have several personal and secondhand stories of UX issues. I would be happy to share those with the UX team in a constructive and productive way. I welcome any suggestions on the best way to provide that feedback.

Hi there! We're looking for a few people to participate in a usability study to help improve the overall user experience for OpenStack Horizon. It’s important to note that the results from the study will be shared with the community.
You're not required to be familiar with the OpenStack project or Horizon to participate in the study. In fact, we prefer to have a few people that have never used Horizon, but are familiar with the basic concepts related to managing a cloud.
The survey should take no more than a few minutes to complete and intended to identify people who meet the screener criteria for the study.

Please feel free to forward this email to anyone whom you think can help provide some good insights into improving OpenStack Horizon.
Thank you,
OpenStack UX Team
