[Openstack-operators] availability zone - what does it consist of?

[Linux Datacenter]

Can anyone tell me what are the components of an availability zone in
nova-compute installation?

I personally assume that you basically need these components:
- compute nodes
- network controller

I also assume that you have one scheduler, auth, api service controlling
multiple availability zones.

Is that correct?
