As a data point, prior to puppetboard, we used Puppet Dashboard, a
fork of which we considered:
https://github.com/sodabrew/puppet-dashboard

At the recent PuppetCampSF, author sodabrew did a talk on his plans
for version 2, following a have-kids hiatus on the project. He's not
planning on making distro-based packages (his expertise and time is
better spent on project dev), but it may be worth considering again
anyway.

Refresher, this is the bug report from the last time we did this,
includes what we evaluated then:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/openstack-ci/+bug/1218631

It would be awesome if we didn't have to do this every year :\
