Christian, Thanks for pointing this out. One of the clusters on my personal
laptop had conflicting configurations.
Andreas, Thanks for confirming.
As of now, editing both the mariadb/my.cnf file works for me. I guess this
is just a temporary provisioning till they switch to mariadb completely.
