Open Stack

This is a question about the un(?)written rules of OpenStack contributor
culture. 

I currently have a bug in the works that requires some fact checking and
other input from knowledgeable people - developers if possible
(https://review.openstack.org/166853). Andreas suggests that I use the
developers mailing list for this purpose.

I haven't done this so far because support request shouldn't be sent to that
list. Agreed, mine wouldn't **exactly** be a support request. But still:

- What is the best way to make myself be heard over there? What tag in the
subject line should I use? Perhaps in my case [keystone]? 
- Also, I think a few developers have already commented on my patches. Is it
appropriate to contact them directly?
