[Openstack-docs] Conventions on naming [clarifications]

Thanks Diane. I'll take that as an indication that the word "Service" can be dropped from keystone's name. I'm editing the "Documentation/Conventions" wiki now.

I'm still puzzled with "OpenStack Image Service" though. The links provided by Diane F and Steve G include the word "Service" with uppercase "S". Is the uppercase "S" of "Service" here a strict convention? From what I can see, we typically use "service" (lowercase "s") when referring to other services, such as "Compute service" or "Block Storage service". Is there any good reason for us to make an exception with "Image Service"? Or should we actually be using uppercase "S" with "Service" beside service names -- meaning we'll have to change all instances of, say, "Compute service" to "Compute Service"?

Anne Gentle, can you provide some guidance on this? Thanks!

Don Domingo

If you look at OpenStack Capabilities section on this page http://www.openstack.org/software/roadmap/, the names match what Steve found.

I haven't checked the usage stats yet for the other service names, though I'm sure we'll find similar naming variations with Networking, Block Storage, etc. I can spend time applying the correct convention, but I'd like to verify exactly what convention to follow in this regard (not just for Compute, but for all of them).
