[Openstack-docs] back-end, back end or backend in OPS Guide and openstack-manuals?

I interpreted the O'Reilly copy edits to remove the hyphen from
"back-end" and changed to "backend". Tom changed to "back end" with a space.
Which one is the right solution?
How do we handle the glossary? Should we follow the O'Reilly spelling in
all manuals - or use in the glossary "back-end" and convert to the
proper spelling when copying the file to the ops-guide?
