Thanks, Anne, that's a pretty interesting list.  I do think that the 
complaints that installation is too hard should be under "problems docs 
can't necessarily solve" though. :)  Mind if I move them?

Meanwhile,  I didn't get an answer, though; do we, or do we not have a 
set of anonymized answers from at least one survey?  Do you know?
