Thanks for your feedback :)

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of people using postgres for their 
OpenStack for some time. In theory the underlying sqlalchemy library can 
support it as easy as MySQL, however it doesn't look like effort has 
been put in to testing it.

There's still some code in nova that references a postgres connection, 
so you could try setting it up with the diablo doc's sql connection info 
...

However, you might get a better response by asking a question about 
postgres support on the general openstack mailing list:
