Funny, I was going to reply with something similar, along with some
of the less flexible approaches like MIPCH, DIPC and PVM. It appears
that openMOSIX was succeeded by LinuxPMI and OpenSSI, but I'm having
trouble tracking down where development of those happened or is
still happening, if it is.
