Yes, even many of them are not active in OpenStack. We should call for more volunteers to maintain these repo.

openstack/contributor-guide repo is under 'Technical Writing' SIG.I would like to request Stephen Finucane (stephenfin) current
Chair of this SIG to do the cleanup.

Also, we can call for more volunteers here to help out this repo/SIG. 

I am happy to help in the openstack/contributor-guide repo (as doing as part of the upstream institute training activity).
