Folks, In the Queens release, Cinder has implemented an internal mechanism to automatically calculate the max_over_subscription_ratio[1]. As Kaminario and Pure drivers already have a config option and are doing that internally, we kindly recommend that the driver maintainers deprecate those options in favor of the more generic option (max_over_subscription_ratio=auto) in order to maintain a better more consistent behavior among drivers.
