I think we need the widest audience possible, so if I had to pick one 
forum I would tend toward an asynchronous discussions e.g. on the 
mailing list. The Forum has limited attendance from developers, the PTG 
has limited attendance from operators, and both of those offer the 
opportunity for only a comparatively small number of people to speak, so 
I don't recommend that we try to have the discussion primarily 
in-person. It probably doesn't hurt to try to discuss it whenever we can 
with literally anybody who will listen though :)
