Open Stack

Hi,

   I am working on testing kuryr-kubernetes plugin with opendaylight, using devstack-ocata, with a 3 node setup.
   I am hitting the below error when I execute "nova show ${vm_name} | grep OS-EXT-STS:vm_state", once the vm is booted.

   Keyword 'Verify VM Is ACTIVE' failed after retrying for 15 seconds. The last error was: 'ERROR (ClientException): Unexpected API Error. Please report this at http://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/ and attach the Nova API log if possible. <type 'exceptions.AttributeError'> (HTTP 500) (Request-ID: req-cead4e05-4f64-4e9c-8bf8-582de2d9d633) Command Returns 1

  I am seeing host cell mapping related errors in the control node n-cond logs [0] :

2017-06-08 08:52:01.970 18963 ERROR nova.conductor.manager [req-6df07c12-3f8a-4da6-9ecd-f6b61bbc4af6 admin admin] No host-to-cell mapping found for selected host sandbox-57023-15-devstack-ocata-2. Setup is incomplete.

Also on my console, I see the below error while using cell mapping script as given in [3]

ERROR: could not access cell mapping database - has api db been created?

  I do have placement sections configured in nova.conf [1], and placement-api and client plugins enabled as needed in the respective local.confs.
  Is there any configuration that I have missed out?
