Congratulations to the Glance team for delivering Ocata RC-1!

As discussed at yesterday's Glance meeting, here are the weekly priorities:

1. RC-1 Testing
Glance Ocata RC-1 ( is available and the stable/ocata branch
has been created. Please test and create bugs for any anomalies you
find, and tag them as 'ocata-rc-potential'. The big new feature in this
release is Community Images and its associated image visibility changes,
so please give those a close look. The documentation is up-to-date, but
it would be worth looking over the api-ref and dev docs to make sure
everything is clear. Also, don't forget the "narrative" api-docs in the
glance-specs repo.

2. Nominate bugfixes for backport
Nominate any appropriate current bugs for backport to Ocata using the
'ocata-rc-potential' tag in Launchpad. Put out a shout in
#openstack-glance to alert us to take a look and approve.

3. Work on ocata-rc-potential bugs
Bugs approved for backport take priority over all other bugs (except for
security bugs). Make sure you assign yourself to the bug so everyone
knows it's being worked on.

(Ask in #openstack-glance if you have any questions.)

4. Show glance_store some love
If you've done the above and are still looking for something to do, Ian
has picked through the glance_store bugs. Here's the list of open bugs
to work on:

If you pick one up, make sure you assign it to yourself before working
on it.

Reminder: propose topics for discussion at the PTG in the etherpad.
We'll be discussing the PTG at the next weekly Glance meeting.
