There is quite a bit of information about deployments in the latest
user survey [1], starting on page 24. Page 29 shows the adoption
of various versions in production over time, and the number of older
deployments indicated on that chart in April of this year seems to
clearly indicate that users are not adopting releases as quickly
as we are producing them.
