Good point.
As you mentioned, the current way of publishing API references is from
the master branch.
So at the moment we need to provide API references for stable releases
in the master branch.
I honestly would like to align the way of publishing Networking API
reference with of other projects.
I'd wait input from the docs team leading this effort.
