The stable:follows-policy tag is now official in the governance repo [1]. Projects that follow the stable branch policy [2] should start applying for that tag. Note that the tag may be used to determine when a projects stable branches go end of life, so it's important to have this information, especially as we head into the Newton summit where we'll be discussing the end of life date for stable/kilo.
