Hey folks,
I just wanted to let the core team and others in the community know this tag application was rejected. The Kolla core team made a choice when we decided to make Liberty non-dangerous. We knew at the time it would imperil an application for stable:follows-policy. We thought at the time, and I still believe we made the right call that having a working Liberty was more important then having a tag in the governance repository.
The tag does explain expectations, which we should follow even though our application was rejected. We as a team have already committed to supporting Kolla z streams (aka maintenance releases) on a 45 day schedule and to follow the stable policy. Let's continue to stick with that activity, follow stable:follows-policy, and do the right thing for Operators and OpenStack.
Regards
-steve
