Okay, it looks like you're running on RHEL?  I wouldn't suggest that
with the upstream bits.  We don't test on RHEL upstream and there's
actually discussion going on right now about removing the RHEL docs
since there are reports that it doesn't work right anyway.

I don't know for sure if that's the problem here, but using CentOS would
be your best bet to get it working.
