Fuel team,

Can someone please review the issues Rohan is having and provide
answers/suggestions to help him complete his plugin?

Thanks,

Sheena

Thanks for the help Sheena.

Also, sometimes I see the following error in deployment on the nodes with
"controller" role :

Also this occurs intermittently in a scenario wherein I add a controller
node to an existing deployment. When I looked at the Fuel puppet code; it
looks like it failed at creation of a "heat_domain_admin" user in the
following file:

https://github.com/openstack/fuel-library/blob/stable/7.0/deployment/puppet/heat/manifests/keystone/domain.pp

Can you also help provide pointers on this? Is this a known issue in Fuel
7.0?

Many Thanks.

Hi Sheena,

Hope things are good.

I was re-directed to you by "aschultz" for the issue I am running into
while adding a controller node to my deployment. In this process my compute
node re-deployment is failing for the following reasons:

I had a chat about this on the IRC channel and I was presented with 2
options: 1) We rename our packages and services to match Fuel
package/service names 2) Write our own netconfig.pp

Regarding option 2; is there a way I can re-use most of the Fuel's
netconfig and only modify bits to meet our needs i.e use_ovs to be set to
False or things like that? Also; when I do that can I disable Fuel's
netconfig operation and have my netconfig only work? Can you please help me
with this issue as I have been lurking with this for quite a long time.

I have also attached my current Fuel plugin rpm if you need.
