[openstack-dev] [kolla] interesting development work which isn't extremely complex for new developers

Hi folks,

We have had tremendous activity on the drop-root blueprint here:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/kolla/+spec/drop-root

Unfortunately the work didn't finish in mitaka-2. There are 5 TODO items left. These are services which need to be securified. There is a significant example work of how this is done in the existing code base. I removed the current assignees for the work and am now asking for 5 volunteers to spend 5-10 hours implementing one of the TODO items each.

If your interested in signing up for this work, please add your name in place of the (unassigned) section under Work Items. No need to ping the channel on IRC as is needed for upgrades. Please try to finish the work asap so we can close out this essential blueprint.

If you have questions about how to implement the various solutions, please ping away in #kolla - I'm sure one of our friendly core reviewers can point you at examples to get you started and provide reviews of your work.

Thanks in advance!
-steve
