As a use case the following example:

We have a sitemap generator that builds a sitemap.xml file for docs.o.o. 
Now we want to set a higher priority for URLs related to the current 
stable release ( https://review.openstack.org/#/c/266241/ ). At the 
moment I have to hard code the name of the current stable release to be 
able to check for it and have to remember this and update it with every 
upcoming release. I think it is more intuitive to have this piece of 
information in a central file.
