It was my understanding that we provided 100% discounted admission
to the conference so that contributors were not charged for design
summit access, since they happened in the same venue at the same
time. However, pricing and discount terms are at the discretion of
the conference organizers so I don't really have more detail.
Hopefully once Thierry publishes his proposal we'll have a better
example on which to draw conclusions about related any prices and
funding challenges.
