Alex,

Thanks again. They should have access, i can ping the remote gateway from
the compute machine and i have my network setup as in this configuration:

https://github.com/openstack/fuel-docs/blob/master/pages/planning-guide/0090-appendix/0095-neutron-switch-cisco-2960g.rst

I am using 2960TT - but the config is based on the link above with Vlan100
defined as

vlan 100
name Public
vlan 101
name Management
vlan 102
name Storage
vlan 103
name Admin
!
...

interface FastEthernet0/3
 description Compute Node 1 eth0
 switchport access vlan 103
 switchport mode access
 spanning-tree portfast
!
interface FastEthernet0/4
 description Compute Node 1 eth1
 switchport trunk native vlan 100
 switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
 switchport trunk allowed vlan 100, 101 102
 switchport mode trunk
 spanning-tree portfast trunk
!

...

interface Vlan100
 ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0
 ip helper-address 192.168.1.1
 no shutdown
!
ip default-gateway 192.168.1.1
!

I do notice my eth1 does not get an IP address assigned on the compute
node when do ifconfig.

Thanks for any help. I am not a network Engineer and have been
teaching myself Cisco config :)

John
