Hello everyone,

Swift just published its first Juno release candidate. The list of fixed
bugs and the RC1 tarball are available at:
https://launchpad.net/swift/juno/2.2.0-rc1

Unless release-critical issues are found that warrant a release
candidate respin, this RC1 will be formally released as Swift 2.2.0
(final "Juno" version) on October 16. You are therefore strongly
encouraged to test and validate this tarball !

Alternatively, you can directly test the proposed/juno branch at:
https://github.com/openstack/swift/tree/proposed/juno

If you find an issue that could be considered release-critical, please
file it at:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/swift/+filebug

and tag it *juno-rc-potential* to bring it to the release crew's
attention.

Note that the "master" branch of Swift is now open for Kilo development,
and feature freeze restrictions no longer apply there. All projects have
now published at least one release candidate.

Regards,
