Yeah - I'll review this.

This one is actually almost ready except that everyone who reviewed it
hates the code this touches (and makes slightly worse). That said - I
have every reason to believe the VMWare team will coordinate their
efforts around making it better in Juno, and the feature is useful and
low risk.
