I'm also particularly conviced that Gantt and Climate can work together for
scheduling purposes, and that point has also been raised by other people
during Gantt meetings, as you would find if you look at the logs.

Climate raised the need of having a external scheduler for planning
purposes during last design Summit, and I'm personnally following Gantt
efforts as I think it would be worth contributing to it for our purposes.
That said, I'm also been surprised that people within Gantt meetings raised
the point of using Climate for scheduling decisions (see also threads about
it with Solver Scheduler, for instance).

So, when seeing some areas of mutual work in between Gantt and Climate, I
can't say more. That said, albeit I'm thinking there could be some tight
interactions between those 2 projects, they both stand by their own and
address different needs : Gantt for "what" and Climate for "when", as Dina
said.

Gantt is still in the early phase for incubation, still needing some Nova
changes before standing by itself so I don't think they can't apply yet for
a Program. That said, that's maybe a good opportunity to discuss about this
Program, in particular about its mission statement, but again, it sounds
like a good fit.
