The spec has been created in April and went through 16 iterations. The spec has been discussed several times already especially at the last Glance meetup in Washington D.C. A couple of updates: - The performances issues found in V2 have been fixed [2] - We will use Glance V1 as the default API in Juno (see comments about that here [3]) - The changes made to the Nova codebase won't be destructive meaning that each Nova functionality will be working equally with V1 and V2. I think this is a good time to get this approved and go forward. Please review the spec as soon as possible to get it merged: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/84887/ Thanks, Arnaud [1] https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/nova-juno-spec-priorities [2] http://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/glance/commit/?id=0711daa7c27af0332d39dd7a2d906205611cce8b [3] https://review.openstack.org/#/c/84887/14/specs/juno/use-glance-v2-api.rst -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
