[openstack-dev] [neutron][lbaas][octavia]

Kyle,

I am confused. So basically you (and Mark) are saying:

1) We deprecate Neutron LBaaS v1
2) We spin out Neutron LBaaS v2 into it's own project in stackforge
3) Users don't have an OpenStack LBaaS any longer until we graduate from OpenStack incubation (as opposed Neutron incubation)

I am hoping you can clarify how this will be shaping up -

Thanks,
German

That's not true, there are 3 ways out of incubation: 1) The project withers and dies on it's own. 2) The project is spun back into Neutron. 3) The project is spun out into it's own project.

However, it's worth noting that if the project is spun out into it's own entity, it would have to go through incubation to become a fully functioning OpenStack project of it's own.
