>      samples are published from can change.is this just for debugging purposes or auditing? from an audit standpoint, whenever an event/meter/whatever is handled within a system, it should be captured. so in CADF[1] and i assume any other auditing standard out there, when a resource such as a publisher in the pipeline creates the sample, it should add a reporter attribute noting that it was who created it and that would be captured in the final sample/event.[1] http://docs.openstack.org/developer/pycadf/
