Hello everyone!
Together with Havana we are glad to present a new version of
Stackalytics<http://www.stackalytics.com/> -
0.3. In this release the service is extended by email and blueprint
processing. Blueprints are metered by popularity - the number of times they
are mentioned in either emails or commits. The blueprint report shows all
blueprint details together with email and commit messages in a single page.
With new "Top Mentors" metric the one may find who takes care of new-comers
commits most. Also version 0.3 processes stable branch commits starting
with Folsom release for all core projects.
Full release notes:
- Added polling of mailing list and standard analytic in dashboard for
this data source.
- Added analytic over blueprints. Implemented report on blueprints
popularity. It shows how many times blueprint was mentioned in emails or
commit messages.
- Added report on Top Mentors. It shows statistics of reviews on new
contributors patches.
- Added documentation on API. It is published at
http://stackalytics.readthedocs.org/en/latest/userdoc/api_v1.0.html
- Implemented project grouping. Now several projects can be grouped into
one meta-module.
- Implemented tracking of stable branches for older releases.
- Improved Bug ID parser.
- Implemented fail-over handling for GitHub.
- Fixed some bugs and added affiliations for a bunch of people. Added
corrections of statistics for Havana release cycle.
Staring next Monday 15:00 UTC we will have bi-weekly IRC meetings in
#openstack-meeting channel. The agenda for the first meeting is to list
feature requests and plan the next release.
Whenever you are interested in architecture or would like to run your own
service feel free to contact project's wiki:
