Open Stack

Hi folks,

I have planed to give some enhancements to Nova and Glance, but there
are some requirements/dependencies need Cinder support since those
changes are related with volume attaching/detaching, such as attaching
a volume to a host.

The whole use-cases be wrote down to here:
https://etherpad.openstack.org/linked-template-image , please take a
look first, and follow items need be discussed in team IMO:
   1. Generic attach/detach extraction, nova, glance, cinder projects need that.
   2. Cinder-agent?
   3. Do we need the generic attach/detach to work for volume
migration, backup and a few other things? is there really have a
generic way?
   4. Concurrent control.
   5. Cinder API change/adding, to drive the state machine properly
for volume and snapshot.
