This is not really a development-related question, so it's not really
on-topic for this list.

Furthermore, kernel panics are always a kernel bug (nothing in userland
should be able to trigger them), so I'd suggest filing a bug with your
kernel producer (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+filebug)
