Thanks. In retrospect I think that the patch set can be abandoned.

We try to avoid bumping rpc versions in stable. In the past we have done alternative versions of the fix that don't require bumping the rpc version. Would it be possible to replicate the functionality using something like compute.stop compute.start so we don't need a new rpc call?
