Hello

Thanks for very interesting proposal!
We're working on implementation of the multi-region support, and our design
of proxy-affinity feature is very close to yours. The most tricky part will
probably be tweaking of the get_more_nodes() method to make it select only
nodes from 'local' region for hand-off (we're thinking of adding
get_more_local_nodes() for this purpose) upon PUT request.
