Hi Matthew,
I see it now. I guess it means, that you want to run nova compute in
dom0, which is not supported at the moment. You need to create a VM on
your XCP, and set up that VM as nova compute.
So you will have your XCP, and inside that, you'll have a VM, running
nova-compute, plus the usual Dom0.
